Caitlin Devoy lives and works in Whanganui-a-Tara (Wellington), Aotearoa (New Zealand).

Her practice examines sculptural materiality in relation to the body. Her focus is on the tactile, seductive and kinesthetic potential of materials, and their potential to engage the viewer in an embodied, rather than predominantly visual, experience. Her recent work combines humour (engaging its history as a strategy of disruption) with the erotic and explosive politics of the body.
